Welcome To St. George's Brass Band
St George’s Brass Band is a traditional brass ensemble of around thirty musicians, playing cornets, trombones, horns, baritones, euphoniums, basses and flugelhorns.

One of the longest-existing brass bands in Ireland, St. George's was founded in 1936 in St George’s Parish in North Dublin, Ireland.
​
The band rehearses every Monday evening in St George and St. Thomas Church on Cathal Brugha Street.
​
The band plays a very wide repertoire of music and has a proud history of entertaining the public at garden fetes, summer events and in Dublin's parks and bandstands. Regular venues have included the Botanical Gardens, St Stephen’s Green, Bray Promenade and Farmleigh House.

We play concerts to suit any occasion, such as parties, local and national celebrations and fund raising events.
OUR UPCOMING GIGS IN 2025!
The band will return to some of our favourite venues in 2025.

We will also be playing at a few new venues, starting with PICNIC ON THE PROM in Clontarf.

Come along on Sunday 22nd June from 2.30pm and sit on the grass as we perform our new repertoire, including traditional Brass, Classical, Pop and Movie music.
